My New and Exciting Adventure as a Jamberry Independent Consultant

Have you ever been so excited that you are at a loss for words?

It has been awhile since I felt this excited and hopeful about anything.  I can tell how excited I am as it took about 15 minutes of staring at my computer screen just to decide upon a worthy enough title for this post, so the excitement level is pretty high right now!

Blogging has provided me with so much already, but now I am even more grateful that blogging brought Janelle my way.  Janelle is an Independent Consultant with Jamberry and when she saw how much I was enjoying caring for my nails {and learned the story why}, she asked if I would be interested in trying out Jamberry nail wraps.

Jamberry Wraps

I accepted, did a thorough review, decided to host an online party {of course I wanted free nail stuff}, but more importantly fell in love with the products.  I knew I was going to be a long-time, enthusiastic customer.  But then, Janelle brought the Jamberry opportunity to my attention.  I wasn’t seeking out something like this, so it did just fall into my lap.  But since I currently have the time to learn a little bit more, that is just what I did.

I quickly added a love for the company, and the desire to be a part of it, to my excitement about the products themselves.  I also took a look at my personal life and realized that Jamberry was brought to me at just the right moment.

As you might know, my full-time career is running my own wedding stationery design business, Invites by Jen.  I am blessed to have the flexibility that owning my own business offers because of what has transpired over the past five years of my life, and more specifically what has happened this past year.

Although there are so many wonderful things about having Invites by Jen, the downside to owning and running a small business such as this is that when tragedy does strike {such as it did for me in May}, I do not have the option to call someone and say, “Hey, I am going to take some leave, you are going to have to finish the orders and keep the business running.”  I mean, we all heard the story of the day my water broke.

Needless to say, after having to turn a lot of business away at the beginning of the year because of a complicated and scary pregnancy {and uncertainty in regards to the possibility of a lifetime of special needs care for a child}, and then shutting down through what is normally my busy time of the year after Laughton’s passing, Invites by Jen didn’t provide for my family as it normally would have this year.

In looking ahead to this next year, my husband and I are currently in the middle of the adoption process as we continue to try and grow our family, we have some hefty medical bills still coming our way, we are looking to buy a new home, and we are looking to start a small farm.  That is a lot.  A lot.  Even writing it out, I started to feel a little overwhelmed again.

Because of what is going, and the upcoming changes in our personal life, we are taking a very conservative, scaled-back approach to my business again for this year.  We cannot afford what just happened again {mainly spending a lot of money to advertise, only to turn the business obtained from it away} and we also need my schedule to remain flexible for the possibility of a new {and very sudden} baby, or move, or adoption related travelingWith an adoption, you do not get a 9 month buffer and we have to be ready for any situation, even if it means getting a call that a baby was just born and is looking for a forever home that same day.  Or, getting a call that our agency has a family in Florida {since the agency works in that state as well} that would like to meet with us the next day to allow us the honor of adopting their child.

In short, I am scared.  I didn’t provide financially for our family this year as I would have normally and I cannot say for sure what this upcoming year will be like for me.

Enter Jamberry.

I will not go into a lot of the details in the post, but after looking through all that Jamberry has to offer, I am impressed at how generous the company is to Independent Consultants.  You can trust when I say this because I have experience with a direct sales company {from way back when} and Jamberry really does make it SO easy for Independent Consultants to thrive and achieve whatever financial or personal success they set out to accomplish.

The best part is that being an Independent Consultant for Jamberry IS something I can continue to do to provide financial support for our family even immediately after a new baby arrives and has blessed our home.

Aside from the financial aspect, I am really excited for what Jamberry can provide for me socially.  In scaling back Invites by Jen for this year, and the possibility of moving, we decided to close my downtown studio where I would normally meet with brides.  That studio, and having consultations with a bride and groom, got me out of the house and socializing with people, even if for just a couple of hours in a day.

Now that the clouds are starting to lift a bit in my personal life, I am realizing that an entire week will go by and I do not even step foot outside of my house.  I am an introvert anyways, so being in a situation that doesn’t require social contact is certainly not going to help me get through hard times.

I realized that I was longing for something that “forced” me to get dressed, get outside of the house, talk with people, make new friends, socialize with old friends, and simply put: have fun and laugh again.  And honestly, some days I feel like I need something to give me a purpose.

Jamberry has this saying:

Like It? – Place an Order {wraps are always Buy 3, Get One Free}

Love It? – Host a Party {get your wraps, and more, for free}

Want it All? – Join my Team {you can have it all and more}!

like it - love it - want it all with Jamberry

I certainly did want it all, not only in the sense that I want every single nail wrap and product Jamberry offers, but I want to be able to provide all that my family and myself need.  So, I decided to take Janelle up on her offer and join her team.

Therefore, I am happy to announce that I am one of the newest Jamberry Independent Consultants!

Independent Consultant for Jamberry - Jennifer Cassellius

Thank you so much for taking the time to read this, and for letting me pour out some of my feelings a bit here on the blog today!

And, of course, now I have to ask you something:

Want to help me get off to a great Jamberry start?

I would love to have a party with you and some of your friends!  Who can say no to Margaritas and Manicures or a Mommy and Me party?  Or, I would love to buy you a coffee and do a personal demo of how to use the nail wraps.  Even if you are not in my local area, we can still gather together with an online Facebook or catalog party.

If you have any inkling of helping me get off to a great start {or just help me get out of the house for a little bit of fun}, let me know here.

Or, have I piqued your interest and now you want to learn more about the Jamberry opportunity?  I would love to tell you all about it!  Although I may be new to Jamberry, I am not new to the direct sales world and I would love for you to join my team so that we can both help each other grow in success and in life!  Fill out this form to get started on your own Jamberry journey!

If neither the party or the opportunity interest you, but you would like to get your nails wrapped in some Jamberry, you can always shop online at my Jamberry website.

And, of course, I would love to have you as a fan over on my new Jamberry Facebook page where I will post all things Jamberry related.  I may even throw out some freebies to my Facebook fans every now and then, so if you are all about the Jams {‘bout the Jams, ‘bout the Jams…no polish…oh geez Jen, c’mon!}, then head on over to my Facebook page and give me a big ol’ like!

    I just recently got my hands on my very first order on Jamberries. I ended up winning a hostess gift (it was a fun little online party situation) and got to order 5 more, so my collection is 12 strong now and I’m so excited to get to use them. I have always been a nail polish fan, but I chip like no other. Hopefully these help.

    I love Jamberry Nails! I have to say the first time I tried them it was a disaster but after some practice they come out perfect every time now. I will never paint my nails again!

      I am going to find it hard to give up my polish entirely….but I will most likely never have polish on an accent finger ever again and will just swap out the nail polish color when it chips and choose something new that still coordinates with the wraps I am wearing!

    Congrats on this new venture 🙂 Also, I’m adopted and love hearing about families who want to adopt. It’s such a special choice to make and I am excited to see where this journey takes you and your husband!

      Thanks, Megan! My husband and I are very excited about adopting. We just learned we moved up to number six (from number ten) on the waiting list, so that was great news to hear!
